Lynn has over 15 years experience in management consulting primarily in the area of culture change and leadership development undertaking projects for a variety of organisations. Her expertise lies in assisting organisations to develop in their people the mindsets, skills, and behaviours necessary for them to achieve their strategic goals.
Originally from the UK, Lynn emigrated to Australia in the late 70’s and worked on projects throughout Australia, New Zealand, UK and Asia. The various assignments that Lynn has undertaken have exposed her to a broad range of business sectors, including finance & insurance; IT; engineering; health and pharmaceuticals; utilities and mining. She primarily focuses on organisational development including diagnostic research, culture development programmes, curriculum design, project management and facilitation.
She has been involved in large organisational culture change projects working with people such as Professor Roger Collins of the Australian Graduate School of Management; and Rick Ross, co-author with Peter Senge of “The Fifth Discipline Handbook”.
Lynn has also worked with Carolyn Taylor, author of “Walking the Talk – Building a Culture for Success”; as an adult learning specialist and curriculum designer. In the role of programme designer Lynn turned the ideas and methodologies in the book ‘Walking the Talk’ into lively, interactive complete learning experiences which work for every learning style.
Her clients have included Westpac Bank, AMP, St George Bank, National Australia Bank, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Macquarie Bank, ING Australia, ING Direct, Hamersley Iron, Rio Tinto, SA Water (South Australia), Welsh Water – UK, Water Corporation – Western Australia, Oracle Corporation, CSC, MBF (Medical Benefits fund of Australia), Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation – Australia, University of Sydney Union, Zoological Parks Board of NSW (Taroonga Zoo), Holroyd City Council, Special Broadcasting Services (SBS), Vodaphone-Hutchinson Australia, Alcatel- Lucent Australia.
In her life away from work Lynn loves travelling to all parts of the globe both and exploring ‘off the beaten track’ and has done things such as trekking in Nepal, camel riding in Rajasthan; visiting a wildlife sanctuary in Rawanda to see the mountain gorillas, and paddling her surf ski with dolphins off the coast of Sydney. She also has recently taken up dragon-boat racing and is hoping to become adept enough to be invited to join a racing team soon. Lynn’s other passion in life is dogs and she has a Standard Poodle called Lola who also travels the world with her when quarantine rules allow.
