Carla has a Masters in Management Learning and Leadership and has worked as a coach, facilitator and culture change expert for global companies, the United Nations and various NGOs. She has taught at IMD and INSEAD Business Schools where she co-directed executive development programmes focussing on sustainability.Her passion lies in inclusive leadership and she is currently developing a Women in Leadership programme, enabling women to lead with impact and authenticity and bring a more feminine approach to leading organisations.
As well as working as a consultant to organizations, Carla has held management positions in Getty Images, London and at the World Wildlife Fund, Switzerland where she was responsible for the development of strategic partnerships and the design, delivery and marketing of the One Planet Leaders Programme.
Carla’s first degree was in Health Sciences and she began her professional career in healthcare, gradually transitioning into group dynamics and learning & development after working at Brathay and seeing the power of experiential learning to affect personal change.
Having worked in a huge variety of settings, from gender diversity training in Senegal to CEO retreats in Europe, Carla is a strong believer in the importance of integrity and standing up for what you care about. She volunteers for organisations such as Embercombe, is a certified facilitator for Rising Women Rising World and is working on a project to bring self-leadership training to schools.
